Omegatin® Horse Food
Omegatin is a complete, properly balanced, high-nutrient dense horse food with an exceptionally low level of starch: 13.5% (nearly 1/4th that found in oats). This is approximately 50% less than many popular “rice-bran” products. This starch level is possible due to the use of highly digestible, specialized ingredients including proprietary ingredients from Kent’s sister company Grain Processing Corporation.
This is a soft-pelleted product. It is not in a meal form nor is it exposed to the high temperatures and pressures of extrusion. As a soft pelleted product, Omegatin is ideal for horses with few or sensitive teeth.
